NEW TACO TOWN, Republistan (RGC) — Sunday night marked the first ever authorized dragon hunt by the eLON. Plagued by delays and logistical difficulties, the momentus occassion was undercut by the series of fatal accidents that befell the expedition team.

Initially composed of Emperor eatdostacos, tpinky99, and YuukaHayase from NTT, Chief HellRaiser7367 from PLP, and independent contractors Werffy, DubbLee, Xeyocite, and chzzms420, the coalition of eager troops quickly left behind Xeyocite and DubbLee after their failure to appear at the staging area in time. After chzzms420 made first entry into the void realm of Limbaugh, the rest of the forces began to pour into Limbaugh territory. However, tragedy struck when HellRaiser7367 missed the jump to the main island, plummeting into the abyss along with expensive PLP equipment.

With one man down, the five-man team moved promptly to destroy the End crystals. Taking less than two minutes, the dragon terrorist was vanquished by the multinational force. Werffy delivered the coup de grâce. Following the battle, the team quickly disbanded as they fought over the dragon egg. eatdostacos attempted to claim the area upon which the dragon egg lay as rightful NTT territory; however was foiled by YuukaHayase, who dropped the egg onto a torch. With what he called “pickup priority,” Werffy skillfully snatched the dragon egg from the ground, later handing it over to the late-arrival Xeyocite.

“You’re actually braindead,” eatdostacos told YuukaHayase, scolding his town member for attempting to take the egg.

With the gateway now open, chzzms420 began his independent exploration of the outer End islands. eatdostacos and Werffy, reinforced by Xeyocite, made their way to the outer islands shortly after. DubbLee visited the main End island briefly to observe the fresh battlefield, discovering a mysterious second dragon egg. It is unknown how this egg was produced. An eLON representative speculated yesterday’s timeline attempted to merge with the present.

Hours after first entry, the dispersed team suffered a second loss when eatdostacos flew too close to the void, dying after his unenchanted elytra suddenly gave out. eLON investigators concluded the accident was a consequence of negligence. Along with his netherite equipment, he also lost four elytras and valuable looted diamond armor to the unforgiving darkness.

Returning to New Taco Town, Xeyocite offered replacement netherite armor to console eatdostacos, along with a sword. Werffy handed over his elytra, claiming that he would not play enough to justify keeping such a powerful transportation utility. Despite this, the traumatic experience left eatdostacos rattled, Whether he would continue to actively lead New Taco Town into to the future has now come into question.

Meanwhile, HellRaiser7367 returned to Parking Lot Pal to gradually recover all the equipment lost at Limbaugh. As the only member of PLP present at the fight, his return to original power is expected to take far longer than his NTT counterpart. At press time, he was last seen sporting a set of unenchanted diamond armor while requesting a set of replacement gear from the eLON.
