eLON Code of Conduct
In order to craft a welcoming enviroment for people from all walks of life, the Republican Genshin Club (RGC) requires its members to adhere to the following code of conduct.
1. Definitions
- Minecraft: A block-by-block building video game released in 2009 by Markus Persson.
- Survival Multiplayer (SMP): A type of game mode found in Minecraft where one or more players are placed into a world with limited health and must sustain themselves off of resources found in the enviroment.
- eLON (Electronic League of Nations): The working title of the Republican Genshin Club's SMP server.
- 1.19.84: A colloquial name used by the vocal Minecraft community to refer to the controversial 1.19.1 update, as well as any following versions.
2. The Bill of Rights
As a member of the eLON, you are entitled to certain inalienable rights and liberties under the eLON government.
- The eLON shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech through the use of Minecraft 1.19.84. Chat report shall not be used.
- The eLON shall make no law regulating player activity within the Wilderness.
- The right not to know the reason for being banned.
- Admins have the duty to supervise people if they're acting sus
- The right to be silenced, but not the right to be banned for being silent
3. The Bill of Wrongs
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of eLON members, the RGC prohibits the following behavior. Failure to comply with these terms may result in the immediate termination of RGC services to the offender, including access to the eLON SMP.
- Lava casting and related destructive activities.
- Damaging or looting town territory with malicious intent (otherwise known as "griefing") during peacetime.
- Using exploits, cheats, and/or hack clients, including but not limited to random number generator manpulation, X-ray, kill auras, and aimbot.
- Generating, creating, distributing, and/or otherwise possessing illegal or explicit material.
- Engaging in activity detrimental to the operation of the eLON SMP, such as distributed denial-of-service attacks.
- Engaging in activity may cause others to feel uncomfortable or unsafe, including unwelcome sexual advances, sexual harrassment, inflammatory language, and hate speech.
- Engaging in activity that threatens the safety of fellow users of RGC services, including doxxing, stalking, and death threats.
- Violating the provisions of the RGC Terms of Service.
